Come and say hello to our new keyboard player Medusa ! SOPHYA - Charles de Goal tribute SOPHYA just completed the recording of 2 songs for the 'Charles de Goal' tribute album . The songs covered by SOPHYA are 'PLUS HAUT' (Featuring DIRK POLAK on the main Vocals) and 'TECHNICOLOR' . Both songs sung in French ! SOPHYA's remix for the Industrial band VIGILANTE was released recently on the bands last album which features 2 cd's 12 remixes and more...buy the album HERE NEWS MAY/JUNE 2007 Thank you all for the support & concern for Mario SOPHYA would like to thank all their fans and fellow musicians for the support & concern with Mario's situation , since the band had to cancel their concert that was planned for the 4th of may . Mario is out of the hospital and going through some treatment which suppose to get him back to his way of life very soon ! You can already see him with Clan of Xymox hopefully back on stage this month.. So expect to see Sophya back on stage very soon ! SOPHYA Remix in the process for Industrial band VIGILANTE Sophya are busy with a remix for the track 'Fair Fight' by industrial band VIGILANTE from Chile , The remix by Sophya will be released in the new upcoming Vigilante album - "WAR OF IDEAS" . SOPHYA tribute for CHARLES DE GOAL Sophya will contribute one or two tracks to the Charles de Goal tribute album...a great French post-punk band which Sophya members loves for a long time ! The tracks that will be re-made by Sophya are Technicolor & Plus Haut . Enschede gig CANCELLED - Mario in the HOSPITAL !! On Friday 5th of May SOPHYA was suppose to be headlining the CRUSH festival in Eschede , Holland . Unfortunately the concert was cancelled due to a problem with Mario's knee . Here's the official announement from the band : Dear friends, "Yesterday we received this announcement from the band : Due unfortunate situation we have. ( Mario in the hospital for knee surgery) and after consulting our booking man.Miguel from Gothtronic we had to decide to cancel the concert of the 4/5. " "our deepest apologized to all of our fans , we hope to see you soon !" We'll keep you updated about this unfortunate situation and about the re-scheduling of this concert !!! In the meantime , we wish Mario(The Haze) to be strong , feel well and get back on the road soon ! Thank you all for the support & concern for Mario

SOPHYA would like to thank all their fans and fellow musicians for the support & concern with Mario's situation , since the band had to cancel their concert that was planned for the 4th of may .

Special Halloween Concert / Release Party

On Halloween (31/10), Sophya will give a special concert for the release of 'Third Wish' in a special event that will be recorded for KinkFM Radio in The Netherlands. Tne concert will be taking place in the amazing Goliath venue that is famous for the 'Bal du Masque' parties ( http://www.baldumasque.nl ). The party will celebrate the release of Sophya new album & Idan K will also be giving a special late night DJ set.
